Waiting is the most unpleasant thing to do especially in E.D (Emergency Department), on the 1st night of Ramadhan, I brought my father to E.D because of worsening dyspnoea. It already Midnight, as usual after the initial measure taken, he was brought to YELLOW ZONE (semi critical zone) for check-up..
Waiting there for 3 hour, me and my sister go to McD near by and grap McD for Sahur. What an unhealthy start of Ramadhan... Hehehe.. then I saw a few others also going there for Sahur (I think!) However... the choice is in your hand..
Cut the story short, my father admitted for Congestive Cardiac failure post Heart attack. Just to share some info to whoever read this blog, Congestive Cardiac Failure (CCF) is a condition in which the heart was unable to pump the blood properly. this may result in breathing difficulty, accumulation of fluid in body tissue (especially over the lower limb and lungs) you can see the leg swollen and your belly become bigger than before.
It also can occur with non specific symptom,i.e, shortness of breath on exertion, cough up pink sputum and wheezing.. most people may think this is asthma or else..
Take home massage: Difficulty in breathing is not necessarily lung in origin.. it might be from your heart. Take care your heart, Choose your food well and exercise. Healthy Body, Healthy Mind..
