Z.O.O & E.D.U (part1)

Zoo & Education...
Why people love to bring their children to the Zoo?

National Zoo (Zoo Negara), located 13 km far from KL city. It was the first opened National Zoo of Malaysia in 1963. The national Zoo features many Malaysian exotic mammals, reptile, fish and birds. Other than exploring the beautiful nature we also can see the animal the rarely find in front of our eyes.

Starting our journey in the mini bus, traveling through the zoo nation.. the mini bus driver was a explained to us regarding the animal in very funny and attractive ways... ( difficult to explain.. :)). The first creature that catching our sight was a long attractive leg and neck of the giraffe.. feel like in the African safari... except no desert.. haha.

During the visit.. the KING of THE JUNGLE looked very sleepy.. I don`t know.. maybe it past the feeding time.. they not move around and basically just lie on the land or banch.

Facts: Lion are social cats. they live in the group called 'pride'. Only the lioness does the hunting job. Status: Critically endangered. Now, less than 300 Asiatic Lions are found in the Gir Forest Reserve in India.

Most people like to bring their children to the zoo because it is a part of learning. At home they can watch animal planet but by bringing the children to the Zoo, actually it more fun and they have attachment with the nature rather than the TV screen.

They can explore and discussing among them. It's help in improving their concentration and you also can give some homework or assignment so that they always keep on the track. At school teacher love to give assignment like.. my holiday trip.. etc, Right!

This palican birds is the earliest bird that migrate to the zoo negara.. the first batch was only around 40 of them. Now they become hundreds. However they never migrate to other place. After few month they will come back to the national zoo. Do you know why? (The Zoo provide 3 times per day meal.. hahaha)

Striped Hyaena. Hyaena.. hyaena.. ( She's the boss) Facts: Adult female are agressive toward one another and dominant over males. When foraging, stripped Hyaena moves in a zigzag pattern at a slow trot.

Mouse deer is the symbol of wisdom in the ancient malay story telling. Cerita Sang Kancil is the most story telling during our Kindergarten. The most popular, Sang Kancil dengan Sang Buaya.

Hi.. Mr. Raccon. not enough sleep last night?

Small little monkey.. in Malay: Kera putih.

After a long day walk, a take brake under the shadow of the nature..
